Automation

Sniper rules

Watch for new Pons launches and buy automatically, under a hard cap with a single kill switch.

The sniper watches for new launches on Pons and can buy them automatically the moment they go live, so you do not have to sit and refresh.

How it works

Send /sniper to set up a rule. A rule describes what to buy and how much: the size per snipe and the conditions that have to be met. When a new launch matches, Sherwood places the buy for you through the same price-then-simulate-then-confirm engine used for manual trades — so a snipe that would fail is skipped rather than burning gas.

Guardrails

Automation that spends money needs limits, so the sniper has them built in:

  • A hard daily cap. The sniper will not spend more than the ceiling you set in a day, no matter how many launches appear.
  • A kill switch. One action stops every rule at once. If something looks wrong, you do not have to disable rules one by one.

Set the cap to an amount you are comfortable losing entirely. New launches are the highest-risk trades on the platform — many go to zero — and automation removes the pause where you would normally think twice.

Status

Sniper rules execute today: when a launch matches, Sherwood buys automatically through the same simulate-first engine as a manual trade, debits your daily cap, and messages you the result. If a buy is rejected, your cap is refunded — a failed attempt does not eat into your daily budget. Treat the cap as your primary control and start small while you learn how a rule behaves.
